Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of engineering staff, including task assignments and workload management.
- Provide technical guidance and support across design, analysis, development, and implementation efforts.
- Review engineering deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed.
- Collaborate with product, operations, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of engineering personnel.
- Enforce engineering processes, documentation practices, and safety requirements.
- Facilitate design reviews, technical meetings, and problem-resolution sessions.
- Monitor team productivity and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering workflows and execution.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required.
- Leadership training, Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, or advanced technical certifications preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive engineering experience, including prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to guide technical work and coordinate engineering resources across projects.
- Strong technical background relevant to the team’s engineering discipline(s).
- Experience reviewing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Prominent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to manage competing priorities and resolve technical issues.
- Experience working in manufacturing, technology, industrial, or regulated environments preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
