Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing equipment & tooling supports production & test requirements
• Improve & maintain equipment uptime and utilization
• Support capital equipment selection, justification, and implementation
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Able to perform root cause and corrective action analysis & implementation
• Ensure processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements
• Enable data-driven decision making through SPC, KPIs, and process capability analysis

Team Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering and mechanic staff to support strong performance and growth

Project Management

• Oversee engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality expectations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with cross functional teams to meet Delivery, Quality and Cost targets
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to align process improvements with production and business priorities
• Translate technical issues into clear recommendations for leadership

Documentation

• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials

Education/Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering leadership
• Electromechanical manufacturing a plus
• Significant experience in manufacturing/process engineering with demonstrated leadership capability
• Strong background in process control, continuous improvement, and production support
• Experience in regulated or high-reliability manufacturing environments preferred

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-department collaboration and presenting findings
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for issues that arise when implementing new test methods
• Desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge and keep up with current technical advances in the field
