Manufacturing Engineering Leader
What's the Job?
Provide strategic and tactical leadership across manufacturing and technical operations within a high-mix EMS environment. Drive operational excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) metrics to ensure scalable processes and optimized asset utilization. Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing principles, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events. Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product design for manufacturability and support new product introductions (NPI). Oversee production planning, capacity modeling, and equipment effectiveness to maximize throughput and efficiency.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field
- 8-10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience within the EMS industry
- Deep understanding of high-mix EMS manufacturing processes including SMT, through-hole, test, and box build operations
- Expertise in production planning systems, capacity modeling, and ERP/MRP tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills with a focus on team development and operational excellence
