Manufacturing Engineer, X-Plant

About the role

Manage/monitor all non-conformities, design deviations, OSW, and late changes to support production. Respond to technical questions and create work orders based on non-conformities. Coordinate and monitor Plant activities and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to X-Plant production
• Establish/verify the technical content of non-conformities and validate in documentation
• Steer/challenge all non-conformities, concessions, and OSW within assigned Plant and Supplier responsibility
• Organize/facilitate regular meetings with suppliers/partners (Folio reviews, drumbeat, multi-function team (MFT), etc.)
• Ensure non-compliance management according to Airbus and Authority rules
• Participate as an active team member learning and following dedicated training plans from current team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Pass relevant Airbus Courses: Airbus Gen Fam, Airbus SA Familiarization, Airbus Manufacturing Systems AMS, Airbus Production Rules 80T, Corporate Presentation Skills, Occupational Health and Safety

On-site at Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility in Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley, Alabama.
