About the Role
This position is responsible for independently supporting and improving manufacturing processes to ensure production efficiency, quality, and the ability to meet manufacturing schedules and growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve production processes to increase output, efficiency, and quality while reducing costs.
- Lead troubleshooting of production issues involving tooling, quality, and process performance.
- Develop process time standards, process flows, and layouts for production lines.
- Participate in supplier technical reviews including capabilities, tolerances, and tooling concepts.
- Lead small to medium Continuous Improvement (CIP) and Lean initiatives.
- Coordinate updates to production-related documentation to reflect current processes.
- Support implementation of capital equipment and tooling projects.
- Use required software tools including SAP, CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
MRPII-Related Activities
- Process routing development and updates.
- Capacity planning analysis.
- Work center data and cost review support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; or minimum 3–7 years related experience; or a combination of the two. Working knowledge of Lean principles (preferred).
