About the role
Support process development, improvement, and standardization of work instructions and control plans for semi-finished and finished parts.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing flow and routings
- Coordinate with tooling and programming teams
- Implement Lean initiatives to reduce setup times and enhance tooling and fixturing
- Facilitate manufacturing design reviews
- Lead contract assessments for new items
- Collaborate with sales on machining hours and tooling costs
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred)
- 2–5 years of manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or NX
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Regular attendance is essential
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machining and manufacturing planning
- Knowledge of metallurgy, TOC concepts, and tooling
This position may require occasional assignments to other facilities.
