Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings and solid models of precision parts to determine the most efficient sequence of operations required for machining.
- Create fixtures and tooling necessary for production and assembly.
- Observe first article production and inspection to verify process is followed and results are conforming.
- Stay current with changing technologies of respective industries and apply information to current and new projects.
- Ensure ISO, AS, safety and other management systems are in compliance as adopted by the company and department.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED, with minimum of 7 years’ experience in similar field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Solidworks and Mastercam software is required.
- Extensive knowledge of fixture design and machining principles pertaining to CNC machines is essential for this position.
- Knowledge of materials and their machining characteristics.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Good understanding of GD&T.
- Strong communication skills.
Qualifications
Candidate should be respectful and team oriented, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Skills
