CNC/Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

This position is within our design and production team. You will work closely with our creative directors and project managers to bring our vision to life through innovative woodworking and joinery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with creative directors and project managers to develop and execute design concepts.
• Work with a team to produce high-quality prototypes and samples.
• Ensure all projects adhere to Merritt’s quality standards and timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Woodworking, Furniture Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in woodworking and joinery.
• Strong understanding of wood properties and joinery techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

The base salary for this position is $60,000 per year.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
