Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Duties
- Design manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to improve quality and efficiency
- Manage the launch of new or updated products
- Create and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings
- Design, test, and source tools and machinery for manufacturing
- Identify and solve production bottlenecks and workflow issues
- Prepare facility and equipment layouts using CAD software
- Write technical procedures and reports
Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Work with Engineering to ensure BOM accuracy in Windchill system
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Manufacturing teams on cost of goods sold
- Work with global teams to implement manufacturing best practices
Financial Responsibilities
- Prepare feasibility studies and cost justifications for projects
- Maintain production and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage expenses within approved budgets
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical preferred)
- 5-7+ years of manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles in manufacturing
- Experience with workshop tools (test ovens, soldering equipment, ESD workstations)
- Knowledge of machine design and special manufacturing processes
- AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills
- Self-motivated with strong leadership skills
- Disposition of NCI – non conformance
- Strong hands-on problem solving skills
PREFERRED
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing experience or hold a Green Belt/Black Belt certification
- Oil & Gas manufacturing experience
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Travel Requirement
Ability to travel up to 10% annually
