Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Reduce labor costs, improve safety, and enhance turn time and quality for operations process steps.
• Design, create, and implement tooling and techniques to optimize processes such as masking, sanding, paint, demasking, and line setup.
• Work with Operations and Maintenance to address equipment issues and schedule repairs.
• Review and improve current process techniques for long-standing products, including aids, tooling, and templates.
• Manage project timelines to meet set goals and deadlines.
• Create and update accurate work instructions for new and existing orders, including first article qualification and production work instructions.
• Coordinate with the planning team to develop detailed work instructions and visual aids.
• Collaborate with other project team members and departments to achieve product goals and deadlines.
• Perform document control for customer engineering documents.
• Use industry-standard methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
