Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes for large form-factor assemblies, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Design and optimize assembly workstations, jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve ergonomics, efficiency, and product quality.
- Conduct process capability studies, and root cause analysis to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve overall production output.
- Collaborate with design engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless product introduction and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing work instructions, process flow diagrams, and control plans.
- Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions to enhance assembly processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost, and report on progress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing problems on the production floor.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring smooth transition from design to high-volume manufacturing for large assemblies.
- Drive the Manufacturing Execution System configuration
Job Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong focus on large form-factor assembly processes.
- Proven experience with process development, optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing fixtures and tooling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Experience with automation and robotics in assembly processes is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in use Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD skills required.

Pay Range
$79,400 - $142,900
