Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for robot assembly and production
- Drive knowledge transfer from product design into manufacturing, ensuring designs are production-ready
- Create clear work instructions and train production associates on robot build processes
- Partner with Product Design, Supply Chain, and Finance to evaluate and execute make vs. buy decisions
- Identify bottlenecks, improve throughput, and reduce cost and defects across manufacturing operations
- Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype through full-scale production
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in assembly manufacturing environments
- Proven track record launching new products into production
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing operations
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Familiarity with machine shops and metal fabrication processes
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
