Manufacturing Engineer
A Snapshot of Your Day As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting turbine generator production, you will provide daily technical support to the manufacturing processes used to produce stator coil components. Your day involves partnering with production and maintenance teams to improve safety, enhance quality, reduce cycle times, and lower manufacturing costs. You’ll troubleshoot process equipment, design and procure tooling, and evaluate opportunities for new equipment and advanced manufacturing methods. Your work directly contributes to operational excellence, competitiveness, and the continuous improvement culture at Siemens Energy.
Responsibilities
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with all safety regulations and support a safe working environment.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for stator coil manufacturing, resolving process and equipment issues.
- Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with design, production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to integrate processes and resolve operational challenges.
- Design, procure, and implement tooling and equipment needed to support manufacturing operations.
- Identify and champion innovative manufacturing methods that enhance competitiveness and challenge the status quo.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with manufacturing tools, technologies, project planning, and process optimization is preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and Microsoft Office, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with adaptability in dynamic work environments.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities, ideally supported by experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We cover zero or low emission power generation, including all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities are provided through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
