Manufacturing Engineer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain accurate BOMs and routings to support production execution, cost control, and planning accuracy
Establish and improve standard work, labor standards, and process flows across manufacturing operations
Lead ERP (Epicor) manufacturing data structure, including item masters, job structures, and process integration
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring full manufacturing readiness
Define and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment
Serve as a technical liaison between Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Develop and maintain work instructions and process documentation
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen)
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
Proven experience developing BOMs, routings, and manufacturing process structures
Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and production systems
Experience supporting NPI and manufacturing readiness
Experience with creating and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
Experience with plant layout and process optimization
Proficiency with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software preferred
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
Familiarity with ISO standards
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Epicor ERP knowledge preferred
