  • Serve as a key resource for real-time problem solving on the manufacturing floor

  • Support the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems

  • Design, modify, or source fixtures, tooling, and equipment improvements to enhance safety, ergonomics, and efficiency

  • Partner with maintenance to identify root causes of failures and implement long-term corrective actions

  • Drive improvements to reduce downtime, improve throughput, and lower production costs

  • Apply practical Lean and continuous improvement principles to optimize processes

  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities within manufacturing operations

  • Support and lead smaller-scale capital projects (typically under $1M), including equipment upgrades, line improvements, and process changes

  • Assist with installation, validation, and ramp-up of equipment and process improvements

  • Work closely with maintenance, production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and implement solutions

  • Ensure designs can be effectively manufactured and communicate clearly with stakeholders to drive alignment and timely execution

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical strongly preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
