Responsibilities
- Implements and sustains PS work process for the manufacturing cell.
- Identifies critical equipment settings and creates standards.
- Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing cell and transfers knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
- Coach associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing cell and leading the autonomous maintenance process.
- Understands top losses within the manufacturing cell and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
- Responsible for manufacturing cell change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
- Act as technical specialists advising how methods and concepts should be applied to their area and expanded to organization-wide problems and developments.
- Plan and execute activities for multiple major or complicated projects, processes, and equipment.
- Receive limited guidance to achieve broad objectives.
- Represent the organization about their area of expertise, including leading presentations.
- Develop and oversee budgets, as well as write proposals for major or complicated projects.
- Advise and negotiate in terms of critical issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred.
- 5 years relevant high volume manufacturing center lining industry experience.
- Full understanding & experience of leading an autonomous maintenance program.
- Works extremely well with machine operators.
