Responsibilities
- Cook up and execute new product introduction initiatives across operations.
- Create, update, and enhance manufacturing processes and documentation.
- Resolve Bill of Materials and routing errors in Company ERP system.
- Handle daily production issues and collaborate cross-functionally to devise short- and long-term solutions.
- Carry out manufacturing engineering assignments involving advanced analysis.
- Lead various manufacturing engineering projects.
- Determine and set labor and assembly time standards.
- Influence product changes via Design for Manufacturability applications.
- Develop robust manufacturing engineering solutions and techniques meeting design specifications.
- Advocate for the adoption and execution of Lean Manufacturing techniques and processes.
- Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technology.
- Support capital expenditure proposals (project definition, quotes, procurement, coordination, and implementation).
- Promote company-wide process improvement initiatives.
- Develop tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
- Engage in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Train and develop entry-level manufacturing engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with emphasis in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years related experience, preferably in similar industry.
- Previous 2D and 3D CAD Design experience.
- Strong knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to lead a team and organize tasks effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Project).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
