Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Spare Parts strategy for production machines and equipment.
- Perform deep dives of machine components (ie: pumps, motors, drives, valves, seals, cutting tools) to identify OEM Mfg Part numbers.
- Identify and qualify reliable suppliers and sourcing options for critical spare parts.
- Analyze existing procurement processes and work with Supply Chain teams to reduce lead times and prevent downtime.
- Support maintenance teams with technical evaluation, documentation, and engineering insights.
- Review machine BOMs, maintenance manuals, and historical failure data to determine critical spares and stocking levels.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment on spare parts requirements and machine reliability goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, maintenance processes, and spare parts management.
- Experience with procurement or supplier coordination is an advantage.
- Fluent in Microsoft Tools : Excel and PowerPoint (data analysis, reporting, presentations).
- Perform data analytics on part consumption + part availability + cost to establish strategic order quantities and recommend on-hand quantities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
