Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes for cost-reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency
- Utilize 3D CAD design software, such as Solidworks and AutoCAD, to design, test, and implement production layouts and manufacturing equipment
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve productivity, and promote efficiency in all manufacturing operations
- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize product design and manufacturability
- Lead Process Improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing changes to achieve optimal production efficiency
- Coordinate with other engineers, management, and production personnel throughout project development and implementation
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure all manufacturing processes and procedures comply with safety regulations and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- Proficient in Solidworks, 3D CAD Design, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and AutoCAD
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and Process Improvement initiatives
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and operations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Certified in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus
Relocation Provided! Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
