About the role

Responsibilities
- Design of manufacturing processes.
- Collaboration with small teams on in-house development of novel and complex manufacturing equipment.
- Specification development for manufacturing equipment.
- Close collaboration with external equipment suppliers on equipment design.
- Management of external equipment suppliers from equipment development through buyoff.
- Validation and characterization of new equipment and fixtures for introduction to the production floor.
- Partner with maintenance in root cause analysis of down equipment.
- Develop and implement changes to mitigate repetitive downtime.
- Fixturing and tooling design experience in CATIA or Solidworks.
- Experience in CNC metal machining processes using CNC vertical machining centers and CNC lathes.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.
- 1+ years in CNC machining, programming and cutting tool selection.
- Experience with the selection of machining equipment.

Pay
$75,000 – $105,000 per year.
