Manufacturing Engineer
Job Details
Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and protocols to achieve organizational objectives.
Apply principles of Lean Manufacturing to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Manage projects effectively from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within the agreed timeframes and budget.
Participate in product development initiatives, working closely with other departments to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products.
Carry out root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and develop effective corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and new product introductions.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Product Development, and Engineering Design.
- Strong knowledge of CNC Machining, manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Project Management would be an advantage.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
