Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Making sure customer drawings and specs turn into reliable manufacturing processes.
  • Ensuring key parts of the product are correctly controlled.
  • Helping designers make their ideas easier to make and cheaper.
  • Estimating how much time and money it will take to make things.
  • Leading the steps to bring new products to market.
  • Working with other teams to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Designing and improving how we make things.
  • Managing multiple projects at once.
  • Supporting production by fixing problems and helping customers.

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience making electrical control panels or similar equipment.
  • Proven ability to handle manufacturing processes from start to finish.
  • Good at reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience creating work instructions and managing production.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing standards and quality systems.
  • Comfortable working independently with a focus on results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a bias towards finding the root cause.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Effective communication skills to influence across different departments.
