Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and oversees the production process of goods and materials.
- Works to improve the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process.
- Analyzes production data for improvement.
- Ensures quality control.
- Develops and implements new technologies.
- Collaborates with other engineering disciplines to ensure efficient production.
- Researches automation techniques and tests new systems for efficiency.
- Ensures efficient cost-effective production of goods.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
- Experience: 3 + years of manufacturing experience required.
- Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English.
- Skills: Must be able to demonstrate basic measuring/mechanical skills; Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, or other engineering software; Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills; Ability to work independently and in a team environment; Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming, Failure Modes and Effective Analysis (FMEA), Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, CNC Machining, ISO Standards.
