Manufacturing Engineer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and oversees the production process of goods and materials.
• Works to improve the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process.
• Analyzes production data for improvement.
• Ensures quality control.
• Develops and implements new technologies.
• Collaborates with other engineering disciplines to ensure efficient production.
• Researches automation techniques and tests new systems for efficiency.
• Ensures efficient cost-effective production of goods.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience: 3 + years of manufacturing experience required.
• Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English.
• Skills: Must be able to demonstrate basic measuring/mechanical skills; Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, or other engineering software; Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills; Ability to work independently and in a team environment; Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming, Failure Modes and Effective Analysis (FMEA), Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, CNC Machining, ISO Standards.

Employees are subject to high noise levels, physical hazards due to moving equipment and machinery, may be exposed to airborne particles, fumes, sparks, vibration, chemicals, and extreme heat.
