Responsibilities
- Design and develop new products, components, and systems based on customer specifications
- Create detailed technical drawings and models using CAD software (AutoCAD preferred)
- Conduct research and feasibility analysis to evaluate performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality control, and project management teams to ensure successful product implementation
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate and optimize designs
- Conduct product testing and analyze data to identify improvements and ensure performance standards are met
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in manufacturing and design engineering
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software, with preference for AutoCAD experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Basic knowledge of programming languages is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments
