Manufacturing Engineer

Located in our Poplar Bluff, MO plant, you will be a Manufacturing Engineer. A Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing process improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity across manufacturing operations. This role partners with production, engineering, maintenance, quality, HSE, and supply chain teams to drive operational excellence through Lean manufacturing principles, problem-solving methodologies, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Facilitate Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, 6S activities, standard work development, and waste elimination.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies such as PDCA & Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and visual management tools.
