Key Responsibilities
- Manages small to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics.
- Drives facility's lean culture by supporting business process improvements through Continuous Improvement events.
- Assesses and eliminates safety risks in the manufacturing environment and drives improvements to ergonomics throughout the production process.
- Establishes production run rates, balances standard work, creates smooth flow of materials and finished product.
- Improves product quality by building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process.
- Drives cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates.
- Implements product changes through ECO process and supports new product launches.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook, & AutoCAD
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
