Job Summary
Evaluate, develop and implement manufacturing process and equipment. Manage large and small scale manufacturing projects to include project timelines, capital requests and budget responsibility. Lead new equipment purchase and support on-site installation. Lead cross-functional teams in implementation of new processes, process changes, or significant manufacturing footprint changes. Provide support to manufacturing operations including new product introductions, cost savings analysis, quality initiatives, compliance initiative, and plant closures/idling of operations.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years manufacturing and/or process engineering experience.
- Significant experience in manufacturing process, including assembly in large scale production operations.
- Proven successful record of managing multiple large scale ($1 million) engineering projects.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Project and CAD programs (AutoCAD).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent project management and budgeting skills with a deadline orientation and focus.
- Able to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- CNC programming knowledge and/or experience.
- Product development support experience.
- Lever Process experience (Green or Orange Belt, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, or comparable problem solving certification).
