Manufacturing Engineer

This position is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and/or the EAR (Export Administration Regulations). Candidates must qualify as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder) according to U.S. Federal law.

Responsibilities

• Support various manufacturing operations through implementation of tooling equipment and processes
• Assist design engineers, coaches and technical staff in establishing equipment or tooling needs for new products, cost justification and implementation
• Train all levels of employees on new equipment, tools, and techniques
• Participate in technical meetings
• Develop safe applications; ensure safe use of industrial chemicals; maintain appropriate documentation
• Perform advanced math for accurate calculations

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
• Three years of experience in a manufacturing engineering capacity is strongly preferred
• Education and/or experience in CAD and 3D printing
• Use of ergonomic, Lean, and Continuous Improvement tools including Kaizen, Taguchi, Theory of Constraints, and 5S for production process and quality improvements; reduce scrap and improve production efficiencies
• Excellent communication skills for working with management, vendors, customers, and production staff
• Self-starter abilities to work with minimal supervision

$67,000.00 - $101,000.00 / Annually
