JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Aid in resolving equipment issues to reduce interruptions and production delays.
- Analyze and implement advanced manufacturing techniques, operational requirements, designs, and dimension specifications.
- Evaluate and optimize equipment utilization and production rates.
- Prepare bid information for new and existing products.
- Update and maintain manufacturing processes as needed.
- Develop processes for new product introductions and assist in designing tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and machine tooling.
- Advise management on improving operations through new methods, techniques, processes, equipment, tooling, etc.
- Offer technical support to other departments and participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
- Organize and lead lean manufacturing initiatives, updating internal records, reports, drawings, and designs.
- Train operators on new or modified equipment processes, practices, and procedures.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including drafting and modeling.
- Insurable driving record.
- Pre-employment physical and drug test.
