Manufacturing Engineer
About the role
This onsite Manufacturing Project Engineer will support the PMO Operations Engineering team in Boulder, driving Medical Device Reporting (MDR), capital, and run-the-business projects that support life-saving medical devices. You will lead cross-functional engineering initiatives, manage project finances, and ensure manufacturing solutions remain compliant, scalable, and cost-effective. The role blends hands-on manufacturing engineering with project ownership, financial accountability, and collaboration across R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage MDR and capital project schedules.
- Lead cross-functional teams and drive projects from proposal through implementation.
- Support regulated manufacturing processes.
- Execute validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and troubleshoot production issues.
- Author SOPs and technical documentation.
- Manage project budgets and forecast spend accuracy.
- Draft POs and track capital expenditures.
- Deliver cost-savings initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 2 years of relevant engineering experience OR advanced engineering degree.
- Experience in manufacturing or operations engineering in a regulated environment.
- Ability to work onsite full-time at the Boulder, CO manufacturing plant.
- Experience supporting or leading engineering or capital projects.
Qualifications
- Medical Device manufacturing experience.
- MDR project exposure.
- Capital project budgeting and capitalization experience.
- Hands-on validation experience (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Experience with document control systems (SOPs, technical specs).
Skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
