Manufacturing Engineer- APQP

Crane Aerospace & Electronics · Elyria, OH · 2 wk ago
EngineeringFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually we have "About Crane" description. The instructions: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We need to include sections only when posting has real, specific content. We have: - About Crane (company description) maybe "About the role"? Actually "About Crane" is company overview. Could map to "About the role"? Not exactly. The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can choose appropriate headings based on content. We have: - Job Summary: description of responsibilities. - Essential Functions: list of duties. - Minimum Requirements: education, experience, knowledge, eligibility. - Benefits: listed. - Possibly "Qualifications" could combine Minimum Requirements. - "Skills" maybe not explicit but knowledge includes GD&T, CAD, APQP etc. - No Pay or Schedule info. We should not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. Remove duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "Start the next chapter..." maybe part of marketing but it's substantive? It's generic fluff but maybe keep? It's not specific detail; but it's part of job summary? It's a marketing line. Might be considered boilerplate? It's not EEO but it's generic. The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The marketing line is not those; but it's vague. Might keep? It's not substantive detail. Better to keep only substantive info: job summary, essential functions, minimum requirements, benefits. We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the details from each bullet. Let's extract: Company description: "Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer at our Elyria, OH location. About Crane Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets. You’ll find Crane Aerospace & Electronics in some of the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Our Crane Aerospace & Electronics Elyria facility has been a bedrock in the community-friendly town of Elyria, Ohio, for more than a century. Known for our excellence in pumping technology, our Elyria site produced the first-ever positive displacement pump for high performance piston engine aircraft and even supplied pumps for Charles Lindbergh in the 1930s. We have more than 150,000 fuel and lubrication pumps in service today and are proud to offer custom thermal management system solutions for a range of next-gen applications." That's substantive about company. Could be under "About the role"? Actually it's about company. Could be under "About Crane" but not in allowed headings. Maybe we can use "About the role" to include company overview? Might be okay. Or we could omit company overview? It's substantive but not required headings; we could still include a

without heading? The instruction: Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings? It says use

for section headings (e.g. ...). Likely they expect only those headings. So we need to map content to those headings. Thus: - About the role: could include job summary and maybe company overview? But "About the role" is about the role, not company. However we have job summary separate. Could treat "About the role" as job summary. Then Responsibilities: essential functions. Requirements: minimum requirements (education, experience). Qualifications: maybe knowledge specifics? Skills: maybe GD&T, CAD, APQP etc. Benefits: benefits. We must not create sections with filler. So we need to ensure each heading has real content. Let's extract details: Job Summary: "As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. You'll be a part of continuous improvement around machining and manufacturing strategies. This person will be a part of our AS9145 (APQP) implementation at the site." That's substantive. Essential Functions list (multiple sentences). We'll convert each to
  • . Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Experience: 2-5 years manufacturing experience with preference of precision machining or automotive manufacturing.; Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), demonstrated Computer assisted design (CAD) proficiency, automation or machining highly desired; Proficiency with APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, etc. for AS9145 Process controls; Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Also mention "You can see a list of our benefits at https://www.craneae.com/company/careers or visit our website at www.CraneAE.com for more information on our company and great opportunities." That's a link; maybe keep as part of benefits? It's a reference; could be included. We must not include application instructions (like "Apply now") - none present. We must not include EEO etc - there is a paragraph at end about Equal Opportunity Employer; we must remove that. Also remove "We are committed to operational excellence..." etc? That's generic but maybe substantive? It's about company values; could be considered boilerplate? It's not EEO but it's generic fluff. Might be considered not specific detail. Safer to remove. Also remove "In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace..." that's boilerplate? Might be considered legal/EEO? It's about drug testing; could be considered boilerplate but it's specific to safety. Might be considered not required. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. The drug-free workplace is legal? Might be considered legal boilerplate. Safer to remove. Also remove "#CAE" and the disclaimer about description not comprehensive. Thus final HTML:

We must not include any extra text outside HTML. Ensure no markdown fences. Provide just the HTML. Check for any repeated content: we have skills overlapping with qualifications; but it's okay. We removed company overview; maybe we lost substantive info about company. But the instruction says preserve ALL substantive information. The company overview is substantive. However we don't have a heading for it; we could include a

before the first heading without a heading? The instruction says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid having a

without heading before first heading. It says "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." Likely they expect those headings for sections; but we could still have an introductory paragraph without heading. However they said "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It doesn't say you cannot have other headings, but they gave examples. Safer to include a section for company overview maybe under "About the role"? But that heading is about the role,
