What You Will Do

• Design and implement manufacturing solutions that support production efficiency in a premier HVAC manufacturing facility.
• Develop and maintain 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Production, and Engineering to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
• Optimize workstation layouts, material flow, and ergonomics.
• Troubleshoot tooling and process issues and support production.
• Sustain NPI through tooling and fixture design.
• Engage in Lean initiatives.
• Maintain tooling documentation and revisions.

How You Will Do It

• Create and develop manufacturing build aids (fixtures, jigs, assembly aids, weld tooling, carts, racks).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Production, and Engineering to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
• Optimize workstation layouts, material flow, and ergonomics.
• Troubleshoot tooling and process issues and support production.
• Participate in Lean initiatives.
• Maintain tooling documentation and revisions.

Required

• Average or Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 3+ years manufacturing or tooling design experience.
• CAD experience (Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar).
• Strong understanding of fabrication, weldments, sheet metal.
• Experience designing fixtures, jigs, carts.

PREFERRED

• HVAC or modular manufacturing experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Hands-on fabrication experience.
• Ergonomics and safety design familiarity.
