Manufacturing Coordinator/Set Up Technician

Responsibilities

  • Performing a wide variety of tasks associated with operating machines and producing good quality parts.
  • Troubleshooting mold process problems.
  • Setting up molding machines as scheduled or required by breakdowns.
  • Ensuring excellent quality product on assigned machines.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Effective communication of machine, tooling and quality problems.
  • Developing team environment on shop floor.
  • Willingness to participate in on-going training programs.
  • Performing IP and/or MT duties when necessary.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, various types of equipment that have vibration, and exposure to minimal levels of dust.
  • Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection.
