Manufacturing Set Up Technician

Starting rate of pay is $25.00/hr; may vary between $25.00/hr and $27.00/hr based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

About the role

The Setup Tech supports the production line by adhering to the designated production/mold change schedule, ensuring quality bottles are ready for the production team. This role focuses on maintaining machine efficiency through mold changes and setup processes while prioritizing Safety and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Make Safety a #1 priority.
• Keep the Setup shop and current working area clean and safe.
• Communicate with the Maintenance Manager regarding shop needs.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams on pertinent information about upcoming bottle runs.
• Understand machine components related to molds and tooling.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble machine heads and molds on all SBM & EBM machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 35 pounds or more regularly.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of basic hand and power tools.
• Maintain a personal toolbox with necessary tools for daily operations.
