Manufacturing Chemical Engineer

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and optimize copper bonding, plating, and wireline processes.
- Build, monitor, and continuously improve production processes, including surface preparation, electroplating/copper bonding, heat treatment, straightening, and wireline operations.
- Diagnose process and equipment problems, ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Analyze process data to maintain consistent product quality, finding opportunities to improve yield and reduce scrap.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives, passionate about raw material utilization, chemical consumption optimization, and waste minimization.
- Provide hands-on technical support to daily operations, ensuring stable production of high-quality copper-bonded ground rods that meet ASTM/UL standards.
- Guide Lean and ongoing improvement projects within assigned areas, emphasizing Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash (SQDCC).
- Apply root cause analysis and statistical methods to address process variability and production challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.
- Experience using engineering and business tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Excel.
