Manufacturing Associate (Non-Exempt)

About the role

The Manufacturing Associate position is located at Ethos Pet Brands facilities in Brownwood, TX. This position reports to the shift manager and is an onsite-based role.

Responsibilities

• Routine checks and preventative maintenance of equipment
• Efficient completion of final assembly and packaging processes if required
• Startup and shutdown of machinery as necessary
• Product labeling and inspection of final product, including correct bags, seals, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area according to 5S setup
• Report issues when they arise
• Quality checks of equipment, process, or product in accordance with site's quality requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• GED, High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Able to be flexible and work overtime
• Good physical stamina and keen attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty and high-speed machinery
• Good understanding of production procedures and best practices
• Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations
• Must work well with others and be a team player
• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be willing to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Must be eligible to work in the US

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: GED, High School diploma or equivalent
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooks; Forklift certified
