Manufacturing Associate - Lexington, NC
Brief Description
Meyer Laboratory is a rapidly growing nationwide chemical manufacturer seeking a full-time Manufacturing Associate to join their team at their Lexington, NC facility.
Responsibilities
- Aid in production and chemical blending
- Troubleshoot production equipment and processes
- Plan and improve processes and product quality
- Work with other team members to complete the production process
- Support warehouse functions such as stocking, counting inventory, and picking orders
- Perform routine maintenance and clean-up
- Support miscellaneous duties to enhance operational efficiency
- Comply with safety and quality regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong sense of urgency and initiative
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent attendance record and timeliness
- Prior forklift experience or certifications preferred
- Flexible with day-to-day job duties
- Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations
Qualifications
- Physical requirements: walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear
