Manufacturing Associate - Lexington, NC

Brief Description

Meyer Laboratory is a rapidly growing nationwide chemical manufacturer seeking a full-time Manufacturing Associate to join their team at their Lexington, NC facility.

Responsibilities

• Aid in production and chemical blending
• Troubleshoot production equipment and processes
• Plan and improve processes and product quality
• Work with other team members to complete the production process
• Support warehouse functions such as stocking, counting inventory, and picking orders
• Perform routine maintenance and clean-up
• Support miscellaneous duties to enhance operational efficiency
• Comply with safety and quality regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years related work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong sense of urgency and initiative
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent attendance record and timeliness
• Prior forklift experience or certifications preferred
• Flexible with day-to-day job duties
• Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear
