Manufacturing Associate - Blue Springs, MO
Brief Description
Meyer Laboratory is a rapidly growing nationwide chemical manufacturer seeking a full-time Manufacturing Associate based out of their Blue Springs, MO warehouse. The role offers “B” shift hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:30pm with potential for overtime. Employees enjoy a 3-day weekend every week and have the opportunity for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Assist with production and chemical blending
- Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes
- Aid in planning and improving processes and product quality
- Work with other team members to complete the production process
- Support warehouse functions such as stocking, counting inventory, and picking orders
- Perform routine maintenance and clean-up
- Support miscellaneous duties to enhance operational efficiency
- Observe and comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Strong sense of urgency and initiative
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent attendance record and timeliness, required
- Prior forklift experience or certifications a plus
- Flexibility with day-to-day job duties
- Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing protective gear when necessary
- Meeting physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear
