Key Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment
- Perform simple machine set-ups
- Read and understand most blueprints
- Show working knowledge and understanding of most QC requirements and procedures
- Monitor scrap rates
- Inspect parts in accordance with procedure policy
- Understand different cutting tools and their usage
- Understand ISO concepts
- Understand production requirements
- Understand Lean principles
- Be available to work overtime if required
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Basic math skills
- Accountability to show up to work regularly and provide a positive attitude
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Accessing production areas when necessary
Work Environment
- Operates in both office and manufacturing floor environments
- Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions may occur when accessing plant areas
