Responsibilities
- Sets up and tests sub-assemblies.
- Creates and updates manufacturing procedures.
- Ensures quality processes in product manufacture.
- Trains and orientations new employees.
- Supports manufacturing engineering in developing and revising test and manufacturing procedures.
- Performs manufacturing tasks such as reading schematics, using test equipment, soldering, crimping, applying sealants and thread lockers, adhering to ESD practices, troubleshooting sub-assemblies, writing and implementing ECOS, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Completes assigned training.
- Accepts other responsibilities as assigned.
Organizational Relationships
- Reports to: Production Manager
- Supports team in manufacturing of sub-assembly, final assembly, and testing of all MGC products.
- Requires repetitive motion to complete assemblies and ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Monitors Work in Progress (WIP) to ensure minimal work order shortages, accurate WIP and stock inventories, and availability of work for team members.
Job Specifications
- Two years of medical manufacturing experience in assembly.
- Two-year electronic degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of all MGC equipment and procedures preferred.
- Company training as required for the position.
- Proven performance in the following areas: willingness to work overtime, excellent attendance record, ability to work in a positive team environment, ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively and consistently, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and interpersonal skills.
