Manufacturing Assembler
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply assembly tools and techniques effectively.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Use hand and automatic crimp tools.
- Install boots, markers, Expando, sleeving, and wrap-around markers.
- Measure wire lengths using calipers, scales, and tape measures.
- Operate heat guns with correct settings for shrink applications.
- Solder using traditional and resistive soldering tools.
- Participate in ongoing on-the-job training to improve skills, accuracy, and efficiency.
Assembly Work
- Build wire harnesses and mechanical assemblies according to print.
- Crimp, strip, and handle various wires and components using hand tools.
- Follow all drawing requirements, general and flag notes, travelers, and work instructions.
- Comply with workmanship standards (IPC-620, J-STD-001, TE.04-03—training provided if needed).
- Document work accurately and completely in production travelers.
Qualifications
- Soldering experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring instruments
- Willingness to participate in training and learn specialized techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work in a team environment

- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform detailed assembly work
- Light lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required
- Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols required in production area
