About the role

As a Manufacturing Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packing a variety of mechanical assemblies using hand tools and bench top equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow assembly procedures and work instructions with attention to detail.
  • Verify the integrity of materials to be assembled according to the assembly procedure and/or work instruction.
  • Assemble components in specific orders, using the proper tooling and equipment specified in the procedures/work instructions.
  • Perform visual inspection of components and/or assemblies according to procedure/work instruction.
  • Identify and report defective components.
  • Ensure the accuracy of work-in-process associated with the work cell.
  • Maintain cleanliness in your work area and surrounding workspace.
  • Fulfill any other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Ability to use various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in reading procedures, interpreting visual aids, and following mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Precision mechanical component placement and assembly.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.

Bonus qualifications

  • Experience in gloveboxes and working under a microscope with small parts.

Hourly rate

$35 USD – $45 USD
