About the role

This position involves manufacturing and energy sector operations. The role focuses on production processes, equipment maintenance, and ensuring operational efficiency within industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and energy systems
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production machinery
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Document production metrics, energy usage, and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and reduce downtime
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process upgrades

Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing, energy production, or industrial operations
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or control systems relevant to the industry
• Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and operational manuals
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and perform hands-on work for extended periods
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, or on-call rotations as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school background preferred

Qualifications

• Proven track record of reliable attendance and performance in a production setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly under pressure
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting

Skills

• Forklift or heavy equipment operation (certification a plus)
• Welding, machining, or fabrication experience
• Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, or other industrial control systems
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles

Pay

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience and shift differential

• Full-time, permanent position
