Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple testing initiatives simultaneously across projects of moderate to high complexity.
- Define, review, and approve test strategies, plans, and quality assurance deliverables.
- Lead testing efforts throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, and training to QA team members.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for applications, business processes, and testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with senior management, business stakeholders, developers, and global technical teams.
- Test Planning & Execution
- Lead all phases of testing, including planning, design, scripting, execution, defect management, debugging, and reporting.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts to validate business and technical requirements.
- Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test results.
- Support functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Analyze, prioritize, and communicate defects based on business impact and technical risk.
- Provide regular testing status updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to project stakeholders.
- Test Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Design and automate test cases using existing automation frameworks.
- Evaluate and implement new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and quality metrics.
- Monitor and report software quality metrics and testing effectiveness.
- Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely within Agile Scrum teams to coordinate testing activities and sprint deliverables.
- Participate in architectural discussions, defect reviews, enhancement planning, and solution design sessions.
- Support change management activities and help resolve issues arising throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Testing, or related technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in test strategy development, test execution, defect management, and quality reporting.
- Experience supporting multiple applications, platforms, and development environments.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
