Manual Grinding

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Responsibilities

• Set up manual grinder machinery.
• Operate manual grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Move completed material to next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Daily verbal communication with employees regarding work schedules and jobs.
• Written and verbal communication with management as needed.
• Work independently and as a team member.

Requirements

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum experience required is 1-3 years.

Skills

• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers.
• Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
• Must be able to set up the grinder.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
• Must be able to hold tolerances of +/- .0002.
• Knowledge of a Cincinnati manual grinder a plus.

Pay

Starting pay range of $26.00-$30.00/hour.
