Manhole Technician (Laborer)

This role focuses on manhole rehabilitation, restoring aging or damaged utility holes to address infiltration, corrosion, and structural issues. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on safety, training, and development.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all equipment related to sewer maintenance, inspection, and rehabilitation.
• Perform work tasks to support pipeline tasks, including routine decision-making under supervision.
• Work in extreme weather conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat and cold.
• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and complete on-the-job training.
• Experience operating a variety of simple and complex tools.
• Capability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to enter confined spaces safely.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to wear required PPE, such as hard hats, safety vests, work boots, and safety glasses/goggles.

Schedule

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Work hours are typically Monday through Friday but may include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as job duties demand.
