Technician (Laborer)

Duties

• Operation and maintenance of all equipment
• Performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks
• Makes routine decisions and takes direction from supervision
• Able to work in the elements - extreme cold and heat for long duration
• Able to lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs

Skills And Specifications

• Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools

Education And Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting
• Ability to enter confined spaces
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Pay

Salary Range $23.00- $26.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
