Laborer / Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with supervisors and peers in the successful rehabilitation and repair of a variety of sewer and storm water lines
• Assist in initial setup and cleanup of job sites which would include lifting, carrying, and pulling items 50+lbs in weight
• Review entry and work permits; and assists in the review of pre and post installation videos
• Enter manhole, confined space, and pipeline for internal joint installation
• Wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with water or sewer utilities
• Ability to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Must be able to travel, as much as 90% as needed, with little notice
• Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends as needed
• Ability to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl and stretch
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; as well as talk and hear without visual cues
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs., as needed
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn Weko's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use
