About the role

This employee is responsible for the set-up and operation of welding equipment, monitoring the process and product quality, and making necessary corrections to maintain a steady flow of quality products to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Read prints and locate piece parts.
• Set up operational parameters on the machine and monitor performance, making corrections as needed.
• Position, align, and fit components together.
• Weld fabricated, cast, and stamped components to assemble tanks and pressure vessels.
• Complete first article inspection before starting a production run.
• Monitor product quality using required gages and inspection criteria.
• Operate lifting devices as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read prints and follow inspection criteria.
• Experience setting up and operating welding equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to make process corrections.

Pay

Starting wage: $21.43/hour.
