Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, schedules, or product specifications to determine procedures for testing.
• Inspects cylinders for visual defects.
• Tests cylinders for structural defects.
• Places and removes fittings from cylinders following appropriate protocol.
• Rejects defective parts and marks defects accordingly.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require.
• Sets up and operates machines according to specifications.
• Monitors finished products to ensure quality conforms to specifications.
• Monitors machine operation and reports needs for improvement, defects, or malfunctions.
• Operates lifting devices as needed.
• Participates in safety, environmental, process changes, and overall improvement efforts.
• Follows all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.
• Reads, understands, and follows Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions.
• Reports unsafe conditions or incidents promptly to a supervisor or management.
• Shuts down processes if unsafe and follows proper machine shutdown procedures.
• Maintains regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Starting wage: $19.94/hour.
